theProceedings is an
editorial authoredby
two leading research-
ers, StuartR.Lessin,
M.D., of theFox
ChaseCancerCenter
inPhiladelphia,
Pennsylvania and
Pierluigi Porcu,M.D. ofTheOhioStateUniversity in
Columbus,Ohio.Drs.Lessin andPorcu co-authored an edito-
rial entitled “TheStateofCutaneousLymphomas:ACall to
Action.”
This editorial, basedon the sessions heldwithinThe
Summit, strongly calls for newmultidisciplinary collaborations
and resources andwill serve as awhitepaper bywhichprog-
ress over future years canbemeasured.Categories of specific

management, strategicplanning, andadvocacy to theFoundationand looks forward toutilizing those
skills toadvance theFoundation’sworkofmaking sure that eachpersonwithcutaneous lymphomagets
thebest carepossible.
Kacie receivedherBA fromMichiganStateUniversity inOrganizationalCommunicationand
herMasters inPublicAdministration fromWesternMichiganUniversitywhere she focusedonnon-
profit leadershipandadministration. Inher free time,Kacie is anactiveadvisoryboardmember for the
YoungNonprofitProfessionalsNetworkTriangleChapterwhere she seeks toengage thenextgenera-
tion innonprofit andvolunteerwork.
